Hi, I’m KT!

a mom of 2, a full time orthopedic nurse, and lover of my garden and all things homemade. Here you will find my journey of gardening, canning, motherhood and making a home filled with intention and warmth. I believe in sustainability, treating the earth well, and raising kind, capable kids but also understand the importance of balance and embracing convenience when life calls for it.

My Passion for homemaking and self-sufficiency started in my grandparents home where my sister, cousins and I spent endless summer days running down country dirt roads, built whatever our minds dreamed up from wood in grandpa’s shop, and made countless pillow’s from my grandma’s fabric scraps. We learned so many life lessons from my grandma Jackie. She taught our family how to grow food, persevere the harvest and create a home filled with love and resourcefulness-lessons that still guide me today.

Now, I am carrying these traditions forward in my own way-learning, adapting, and sharing the journey with my family (and with you!).
